Third Stage of Labour – images. A printable set of visual aids for your antenatal classes, to explain and explore what happens during the third stage of labour.
An activity using images to discuss the timeline and options during the third stage of labour & birth. Alternatively, the images can be used as colouring pages!

Learning Outcomes:
After participating in this activity, parents-to-be are able to describe the physiological third stage of labour as well as being able to compare and contrast differences between a managed and physiological third stage.
Suitable for small and large groups, to work in a small group setting or as a couple to explore the third stage of labour.
The file format is PDF and it is printable on A4 paper.

I recommend that you laminate the activities to increase their durability and flexibility. You can then also use them with dry-wipe markers as well as clean them before/after use.
