Teaching physical skills for labour and birth is one of the most important lessons of your childbirth preparation class. This interactive activity is fun and very memorable. Something that parents-to-be can continue to practice at home if they wish.

It works as a first-time into to physical skills as well as a recap towards the end of your course.

Suitable for small and large groups, to work in a small group setting or as a couple to explore the developing baby in the womb.

The file format is PDF and it is printable on A4 paper.

The file includes:

  • instructions including sources, references and further reading
  • 3 worksheets one each for massage, breathing and positions
  • 1 mindfulness visualisation script
  • A total of 5 A4 pages

I recommend that you laminate the activities to increase their durability and flexibility. You can then also use them with dry-wipe markers as well as clean them before/after use.
