Description

I would like my birth to be… Birth Planning Activity (pdf) to explore birth planning and options for the birth environment and the childbirth experience.

A birth planning activity to encourage parents-to-be to think about what is important to them, for their baby, their partner or doula.

Use this activity towards the beginning of your antenatal classes to encourage critical thinking, and to explore local options as well as personal preferences. Encourage parents-to-be to consider who they would like to be their birth partner and supporter and where they would like to birth their baby or babies.

Suitable to use in groups and 1:1 settings.

The activity includes:

  • “instructions”
  • 6 header cards
  • 42 prompts (words/phrases)
  • a total of 49 pages

This is a digital product. It is printable on standard A4 paper. You don’t need to set up anything or change any settings. Just download, open and print!

I recommend that you laminate the activity to increase its durability and flexibility. Laminated activities can be used with dry-wipe markers but also can be cleaned before/after use.
