Labour Beadline Workshops

Your labour beadline workshop is a 4-hour workshop where we’ll create labour beadlines together, share ideas & socialize with other birth workers.

The workshop fee includes all materials for one labour beadline. You can purchase additional materials for additional labour beadlines on the day or in advance for £7/per labour beadline.

The workshop fee also includes a set of printable materials, including the pattern (pdf-files) which you can use with your labour beadlines. Alternatively, you’ll get the chance to purchase ready printed and laminated copies on the day.

The Labour Beadline Workshops will take place at my home in Scarrington near Bingham (NG13 9BQ), Nottinghamshire, within easy reach from London & Birmingham by train. Free parking is available.

Bingham has a train station which is an approx. 10-minute drive away – I can collect you from the station, please ask :). Trains arrive hourly from Nottingham and Grantham.

You are invited to bring a packed lunch and I will provide light refreshments such as cold & hot drinks, fruit and biscuits.

Places are limited to 6 participants.

Timings: 10:00 -14:00

Babies in arms/slings are welcome. No mobile children under the age of 3, please, due to choking hazards (beads).

A labour or childbirth beadline is such a lovely way to keep track of special moments! It’s a collection of often colourful beads strung together on a strong fishing line or similar thread. You can get creative by using different-sized beads to represent contractions and breaks; some folks even choose different colours…
